How would you describe your training philosophy?
Use what you have any given day and be accountable. Train so that you can look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and be honest about the work done. While also respecting the care, nutrition, and recovery your mind and body needs. Work smart.
What are you passionate about?
Life: Loving it, living it, and feeling great while taking part in it. I find that music and food connect me to my surroundings. I cook, I train, and I keep it simple.
What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
When I was a competitor I found myself staying over time helping others or answering questions simply because I enjoyed building those up around me or getting extra advice from my own coaches and peers. After competition ended for me I continued my education, training, and found coaching as a way for me to give back.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
Get exposure, seek out what you truly enjoy and find fulfillment in taking part of the process. You won’t make it long term if you don’t enjoy and challenge yourself. Consistency is key, find what will make you show up and the days you don’t want to train are the days you need it most.
