What are you passionate about?
My mission is always how can I add value to someone’s life! So, giving people the tools that they need to succeed in their fitness journey is my utmost goal.
What made you decide to be a strength and conditioning coach:
The passion to become a strength and conditioning coach blossomed from an idea that I had during my last few semesters of college. At the time I was getting ready to apply to graduate school to either be an athletic trainer or physical therapist. When I had a realization that if people got proper strength and conditioning that there would be less of a need for them to go to an athletic trainer or physical therapist outside of the necessary need. There’s too many times that people get hurt or injure themselves that causes them to not care about or resent the gym. I want to try to prevent that as much as possible!
What is one piece of advice that you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey:
Start small and be consistent! Don’t overwhelm yourself with intense workouts and strict diet plans right away. Instead, focus on establishing a routine that you can stick to regularly. Then gradually increase the intensity and complexity of your workouts and make sustainable changes to your diet over time. Consistency is key for long-term success in fitness.

What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
I have always been a decent athlete, but missed the opportunity to play at a higher level because I didn't know what proper strength and condition could do for an athlete. So I decided that I would help as many athletes get to the next level as I could, because many of them may have the skill but not the physical ability or knowledge of what being at a higher level than high school actually takes.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
Progress is progress! Be patient and start slow! There are no "quick fixes" that last. Change your habits one at a time and progress will come.

How would you describe your training Philosophy?
My training philosophy centers around growing along all planes of existence (mental, physical, spiritual) and utilizing physical fitness as a tool and outlet to promote growth along those planes.
What are you passionate about?
I’m really passionate about helping people. I want to be able to make a positive impact on everyone that I meet, and leave people in better condition than when I found them. I’m passionate about loving people unconditionally, mental health, spirituality.
What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
I was picked on as a kid for being small and skinny, which is what sparked my interest in physical fitness. Along the lines I fell in love with the fitness culture and community, and people who were trying to better their lives in whatever way for whatever reason they had. I dreamt of being able to do what I love professionally and started to take the steps toward that goal.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
Discipline and consistency is everything. To me that means no matter what my best is that day, as long as I show up and do that I will continue to grow. Check your ego and focus on form, understanding the movements and really establishing that neural pathway and mind muscle connection.
Certification/Education:

How would you describe your training philosophy?
Every workout puts you one step closer to your goals and your goals will always be evolving. I believe in using muscle confusion to build strength, muscle and assist in weight loss. Fitness is not a temporary adjustment but a complete change in lifestyle. I also believe fitness is important not only to your physical health but to your mental health as well, as fitness helps to create a healthier, happier life.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping others look and feel like their best version of themselves. There is no better feeling than a client telling you that what you are teaching them is changing their lives. I am passionate about motivating people who doubt themselves and inspiring them to believe in themselves.
What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
I have always loved helping and inspiring others. When I fell in love with fitness, I knew this would be the perfect job to spread positivity, change lives and empower others with fitness too. I wanted to learn, love, grow and give back all the knowledge I gain to those eager to accept the knowledge.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
There is no magic equation to fitness, what works for one person may not necessarily work for the next. There are many different styles of training for many different personalities. The key is to find out what works best for you and stay self disciplined. Things will not always be joyous and easy. There will be days you don't think you have it in you but I assure you once you let that self discipline take over and you leave the gym, you will feel victorious that you pushed through and didn’t give up on yourself. There is no better feeling than overcoming self doubt. That’s when you truly find out what you’re made of, your capabilities, mental growth, and physical strength. You've got this.

What are you passionate about?
I am incredibly passionate about helping people to feel STRONG, empowered, and like the best versions of themselves. Coaching truly fills my cup!
What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
I have always loved sports and fitness. And when I worked at another gym doing their membership sales, my favorite thing was seeing the members' transformations, both physically and mentally. And I knew I wanted to be a part of that! I am huge on making sure form is correct and also showing modifications for exercises so anyone and everyone can do my classes. Whether you have never worked out before, have worked out for years and want to take it to the next level, or somewhere in between. I got you, no matter what! Let’s get stronger together!
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
My advice is taking it one day at a time. Don’t do everything all at once starting off. Working out, eating healthy, drinking more water, etc. Take it one little goal at a time and build over time. It’s a journey. Also, it’s ok to have that cheeseburger or pizza. It’s not about perfection. It’s all about BALANCE.

I am a wife, mother of three, full-time insurance agent at RBI Insurance, coach, and fitness instructor at Boxhouse, among other roles. I became a trainer because I know what it is like to struggle. I have overcome many challenging situations and I want to help other women know their struggles don’t define their worth OR determine their future. I have watched my parents struggle with their own health including losing my father to cardiovascular disease. I want better for those I work with, I want to help them find their worth! Fitness and health is my passion, empowering women is my purpose.

How would you describe your training Philosophy?
I am always looking for ways to challenge the body while enjoying the process. Core strength is crucial in all aspects of fitness and suspension training really focuses on that.
What are you passionate about?
Fitness is really my passion and my drive. I believe that my love for the gym is inspiring and motivating. I want to see others succeed in their goals and I want to be a part of their journey.
What made you decide to be a personal trainer?
What most people don't realize, I started my fitness journey at the bottom. I was 300lbs and could barely walk up a flight of stairs. I have been where many are and I want to show people that it is possible to get healthy. I have done suspension training since the beginning on my journey and have seen how incredibly beneficial it is. I am ready to bring that area of focus to Toledo.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?
Find your “why”. That will drive you to keep pushing on the days you want to give up.
